Wan Chai Hong Kong
The imposing Forever Blooming Bauhina sculpture and the Reunification Monument are located on Golden Bauhinia Square (Expo Promenade) outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on the waterfront in Wan Chai.

They mark the most significant occasion in Hong Kong's history - the return of Hong Kong People's Republic of China and the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on 1 July 1997. Flag-raising ceremony daily 7:50am - 08:03am. Flags lowered at 6pm. It's also a great vantage point to watch A Symphony of lights
from Hong Kong Island

HOW TO GO GOLDEN BAUHINA SQUARE
MTR Wan Chai Station exit A5. Follow signs to Golden Bauhina Square by covered walkway. About 15 minutes walk.
